Is there an Incra or 8020 fence that will sit slightly under the crosscut rail like the original Festool one does?

I don't think so. The Festool fence is cut down at the end that goes under the guide rail. I have not found any other extrusion < 0.5" high that has a t-slot on the edge that will fit the dogs.

If the slots in the dogs for mounting the fence are tall enough, you may be able to mount a base under an Incra Incremental Track that could extend under the rail.  Just a thought.

I work with 3/4" strips on top of my MFT.  With the Fetoy fence held vertically with the lock dogs, i can work with wood that is 5/8".
I have some 1/4" hardboard i can add if I want to work with 1/2" wood.

I only have one set of lock dogs and will pick up at least another set.  There is just a tad more flex in my fence than i like.  One more dog would work perfect.

I like the looks of the newer dogs.  I have an older set that the knob at bottom seems to work lose in time.
