New Mafell MT55c Plunge Cut Saw

Are they a wider kerf ?  I think the Festool blade is 2.2mm kerf.  I recently got a new Festool blade & it cost me over £60 after vat  [mad]

Hi Pierre thanks for the info, I suspect Festool should have somethin gin the pipeline but i have some major projects awaiting so I don't have the luxuxry of waiting. However these projects may pay for the tools I'm ordering so when the new saw is out, I may have the extra cash to add it also to the collection if it's a breakthrough.

Thanks for the tip on the Freud blades. I only use Freud blades on my Delta Table Saw and Freud router bits in my routers and routertable. However for solidicarbide spiral bits go with Eagleamerica.com .

woodguy the two freud ones i have are 2.2 and 2.4 kerf , my festool ones are 2.2 2.5 and 2.6, i'll not go past the freud ones now you can get them from about  GBP 18 to 25  [laughing] i have even tried a freud  250mm in my kapex just to see if it would work as it was off my table saw you just need to adjust that allen bolt to let the blade fully cut .

Giovanni if you get the the mafell lets know what you think ? it has a real nice feel, i really like it
