Where do sheepskin pads fit into the new polishing system? They are noticeably absent.

I'm about to embark upon my first automotive polishing with my RO90 and i wish I would have this available next week!  I would concur my local dealers know nothing about polishing and the limited guidance from Festool is confounding.

......sheepskin I use for final polish and also with solid surface finishing. Polishing is very much dependent on the product being polished and ten users will have 12 different ways to achieve the same goal - always creates a debate.
The felt pads are cool for polishing Acrylics

I'll get on bord for this one. I'm thinking the R0 125 would be the size for my usage..I've got the RO 90 for detail work..

Thanks for the info Phil!

Wow that was a very nicely done tutorial, I'm guessing the 150 is more pratical than the 125 for large flat surface polishing..

I could go for it then instead of the RO 125 then later get the smaller sander for vertical surfaces that are too big for the RO 90..

....larger pad diameter for flat surfaces gives better support for either sanding or polishing - and a quicker result.
