Can only be used with Festool's proprietary sized marking instruments made from the same wood as the Sipo Domino Tenons and graphite that impregnates the anti static fittings. There’s also an optional dust collection system available and a cordless Bluetooth rotating motor attachment.

That's the point. It's not about visibility or color. If you want to inspect the surface and highlight defects, you put the object under raking light, a light at an oblique angle almost parallel to the surface.
