Any idea whether or not this will be AINA, and if so, any idea on a time frame?  [cool]

Okay, I have to ask, what new super-flexible dust collection hose or is this more of a wish list product??

You can see it connected here:

And it's mentioned and shown in Stu's (p)review of the Autoclean:  Link.

The AC (AutoClean) version of the CT is planned for last half of the year. Presumably any related hoses and accessories would be available at the same time.

We already have the AC vac over here but I have never seen anything about that black hose, not in the store or on the Dutch or German website.

No idea if it's antistatic or not but the MrNozzle hose is much more flexible than the festool hose and nicer in use for me.

I hope that means the Planex will follow the AC CT.

I really hate my porter cable drywall sander but, not as much as hand sanding.

Warner,
I'm curious as to what you don't like about your PC drywall sender? I also just purchased PC and used it on a basement job we just did. It saved time, but I had to redo most of my butt joints as I took too much mud off. But it's an operator error. Also, I can see how it sometimes leave marks, I attribute that to sand paper being placed incorrectly resulting in vibration and swirl marks.

I'd love you hear your experience as well as when you know about Planex that will make it better.

Thanks

Yuri

The planex is better balanced with the motor on the head vs. down in the handle.

The weak link of the PC is it's cable drive, you will break it eventually.

The planex is modular, meaning you can add more sections to reach farther.

The planex will let you sand right into a corner.

It also has better dust extraction.

I have never run a planex but, I have held it, played with it and gave it a good once over.

Like I said, the PC is way better then hand sanding but, it is almost not a fair comparison between it and the planex.

this vac looks like it has a lock to lock the hose onto the vac as well?

looks like i will be waiting till the end of the year for a new vac.

This black part VS-CT AC is a separately available lock that's meant to help the cleaning function of the AC vac. It is not used to lock the hose in place, but with the green slide you can close and open the hole of the hose. By closing the hole the AutoClean function will be more effective. Of course this doesn't work when you have cleaning on automatic, only when you do it manually.
