New Table Saw- Looking for Advice

I'd advise getting one of the European sliding table saws. Like the Hammer model mentioned previously. With the attached sliding table, I think it is far more functional and safer than any other table saw. Including the SawStop mentioned. The sliding table allows you to clamp a board to it and then rip the edge of the board. Your hands will never get close to the blade because you are standing to the side pushing the sliding table. Any kickback will occur several feet to your side, not hitting you directly behind the blade.

There was a comment that having a Sawstop created carelessness. It did the opposite with me.
I replaced a Delta Unisaw with an Industrial Sawstop.
My already high degree of caution actually increased with the Sawstop. Not only do I not want to cut myself, but I don't want to destroy an expensive blade and an expensive cartridge. I've seen the videos and, intellectually I believe the brake would work, but I don't want to put the technology to the test.
Even without the stopping technology, I would have bought the Sawstop due to its features and quality. Their customer service is also outstanding.
I'd love to see the Sawstop technology on my Kapex and on my 2 bandsaws.

The Hammer Saws look awesome. Now I need to do a bit more research. First glance they are out of my price range but in going to look into them. Thanks

Just got my saw stop contractor model built. After I installed the cast iron wings, I realized I probably should have just gone with the pro. The motor sticks out the back of the saw pretty far as well. One positive is that with the leveling feet, I was able to adjust the table even with my MFT & CMS tables for outfeed. Something that would be harder to do with the pro saw. I didn't get the mobile base, but now I'm thinking it would be nice to have.
Still need to figure out an adapter for dust collection. Good points above on the CT-48 filling up too fast. Think I may go with the Mobile Laguna 1.5HP Cyclone for dust collection.

I'm sure it's not the finest slider in the world but I bet it's serviceable and if you have room and can get 230v to it. How many times have I wished I had a sliding saw.
I've had the G0691 for several years. Not a bad 3hp cabinet saw considering that it cost $1275 dropped off inside my garage. When my local dealer started carrying SawStop I did some pretty extensive testing on his demo 3hp PCS. About the same results as my Griz.
