I'd advise getting one of the European sliding table saws. Like the Hammer model mentioned previously. With the attached sliding table, I think it is far more functional and safer than any other table saw. Including the SawStop mentioned. The sliding table allows you to clamp a board to it and then rip the edge of the board. Your hands will never get close to the blade because you are standing to the side pushing the sliding table. Any kickback will occur several feet to your side, not hitting you directly behind the blade.
