New Titebond II formulation?

I ran out of TBII so I went to Woodcraft to buy another bottle.  It had changed.

No longer the yellow bottle and the product itself is no longer yellow.  It also has much less viscosity and runs very easily.  I'm sure it works fine but I don't think I like it. Seems they should should have left well enough alone...

That is TB II "extend open time" , not regular TB II. 

Regular TB II is still thick and yellow.

I don't think they have changed the formula. The glue you were looking for is Titebond II Premium wood glue, but I think you picked up Titebond II Extend instead.

Whew!  Better start wearing my glasses or pay more attention!  [big grin]  Oh well, it's so blasted hot now in N. Tex I can use the extra time before it starts to set up.
