New to Festool // Looking for sanding attachments that will sand ornate trim

Hey all, brand new to Festool! My CT 26 E dust extractor, Rotex 150 and RS 2 E sander just arrived in the mail this week. After three years of building furniture, I've finally traded in my Milwaukee junk. The big question I have is what attachments I might be able to get for these sanders that will allow me to quickly sand 3/4" quarter round and also ornate trim work with some tight grooves. Any help would be much appreciated!

I don't know of any attachments for those sanders that may help, but it might be worth looking at the LS130 linear sander, possibly with the DIY profile block.

Yup, you need the LS130 with all/most of the profiles.

Seth and jonny round boy got it right. Not only will you need the LS 130 and its various profiles but also a systainer for the profiles would be very helpful. But wait there is more. Since the LS 130 uses the same size sandpaper as the RTS 400, you will need various grits of that, plus a systainer for the paper. I have been using an LS 130 on my kitchen cabinet doors and drawers. It sure makes the work easier. Lastly welcome to FOG, you will find it very useful.

I haven't got too adventurous with the profiles, but the LS130 is great.

Another useful trick is to put on multiple interface pads an sand with thin backing high grit sandpaper. Not good for profeils as it will flatten the fine edges, but great for curves (obviously talking about orbital sander applications here).
