Got hooked on Festool equipment this summer and have not bought a piece that I have not been happy with. Just wanted to say hello and ask a question. I have a kapex hooked to a dedicated 26 dust extractor. Dust collection is ok but not as good as with some of my other pieces. Currently I have a 27mm hose hooked to it. I just bought the tradesman kit last weekend with the 36mm hose. Which hose do you guys run on your kapex saws. Also which hose would on run on a domino 500,  2200 router, and a ts55.

Welcome to the FOG! DC on Kapex is noticeably better with the 36mm hose.

36mm is also a must for 2200 in most situations, though you can get away with the 27 for light duty routing. Domino and ts55 are fine on the 27.

I actually just use a ridgid 1 7/8 hose with an adapter, which I find works even better than the 36mm hose.  I think yo u can also fit the Bosch 35mm hose on the kapex:https://www.amazon.com/Bosch-3931-3...ie=UTF8&qid=1484271689&sr=8-11&keywords=Bosch+35mm+hose
