NEW TOOLS (N AMERICA!) June 1

Wow indeed - that's a lot of new stuff for you lot to get in one hit! Glad they finally made it over there, maybe you'll all stop moaning for a while!  [tongue]

BTW, I was on EKAT yesterday looking at the CTL-SYS, and as well as the CTL-SYS, they have a CT-SYS listed, which would be the US designation, so it looks like that's definitely going to be arriving at some point.

umm, not likely--didn't see the vac sys or the table saw module for the cms in the offerings, so you can bet that the moaning will continue...

Just got the C18 Tuesday, nice bit of kit. I use it for driving screws.

Ron, this was just a PSA! Think i will pass on most of these announcements.

Hmm, cordless track saw, OK, maybe that one!! ;D

The changed the page while I was looking at it. It only mentions them now... No more links to the products. Must have accidentally released them before they were supposed to.

Sorry guys - we were given an accidental authorization.  We've taken them down until further notice.

Hmm, maybe we stirred the pot too soon! They were listed as June 1 releases.

Well, it DOES look like these will arrive in N America, at some point--

Note to self

Next time you see a new tool announcement, do a print screen so you do not have to rely on your memory.

Is it considered improper for those of us who saw the announcement to to make comments on what we saw?

There goes my paycheck.  [thumbs up]

Wonder if the DRC and TXS will be available here?  The TXS is the one I want most.

Mine too ts55 cordless and c18 and possibly the hammer drill

You yanks crack me up, you'd swear the NAINA issue was akin to being starved of oxygen!  [big grin] [big grin] [wink]

It's kinda like teasing a dog.  You know the routine, keep the cookie just out of reach to make it more desirable.  Then, when his desire is at it's peak, he will do whatever you ask.

Yeah I know what you mean. It's human nature, we want most the things we can't have!

I was shopping in my local city last year. I pulled into a car park in my car which is an Audi A6 quattro which had the new 313hp twin turbo 3.0 litre diesel engine.  This strong New England accent called over as I got out of the car "Hey man is that the diesel twin turbo? That's SWEET I wish we had that in the states".

I found it amusing because us Limey's who do a lot of mileage, drive diesel's out of necessity for the increased MPG over petrol and are as jealous of your comparatively low fuel prices as you are for not getting the same range of diesel engines we have available.

Ok, now The Trooper has his flooring avatar back, but jobsworth' avatar is still a smiley face with a bunch of periods after it. What's up with that?

[size=12pt]Well that Avatar confusion surely provides an opportunity for Jobsworth to bring back 'BurgerWoman'!  [popcorn] [popcorn] [popcorn]

For newer members, in a past life, his Avatar was this -

Back to the main subject, most of the clues to what you can expect are viewable on UK site or at - http://www.festool.com.au

Obviously there will remain some NAINA due to voltage or compliance issues.

I feel like Charlie Brown and Lucy just tricked me one more time. [unsure]
