Any update from Woodpeckers as to when these are going to ship? They were due to ship in December...

The latest intel that I have is that Woodpeckers has begun shipping some of them recently. We are expecting to have ours in "early January" according to what Woodpeckers has told us.

Urgh. Frustrating to have to wait even longer. Not ToolNuts fault of course though and thank you for the quick update.

It’s a bummer this is delayed.  Almost as big of a bummer as me missing the announcement and not getting to order one.  I get lots of WP emails but missed this somehow.  Bummer because I can think of lots of uses for this assuming typical WP quality.

Woodpecker sometimes sells extra OTTs at the Woodworking Show. This tool might not be at the first few shows since it is still being manufactured for original orders, but could be available later in the spring.

Just call or email Woodpeckers, they do manufacture extra stock for warranty purposes and some original subscribers may have canceled their order for a number of reasons. I’ve scored after-the-fact in this manner several times.

Hi, This is my first one time tool purchase,  is it common for them to be delayed as long as this on all of their so called "one time" tools? 

Any idea when they will ship to us at this point?  Their site says shipping will be complete at the end of February.

Sometimes the are late, sometimes they are early, sometimes the are on time. It literally varies every time. It sucks, but thats dealing with Woodpeckers. Its how they do business.

I've bought probably half a dozen - they are not occasionally late. They are ALWAYS late. Never gotten one on time or early.

It comes with the territory.
