I'm getting a TS 75 and MTF3.  Can I convert my porter cable router to work with the festool rails or with the festool joining system?

I'm pretty sure the EurekaZone router base will work with the Festool rail. You can use any model of router with it.

Try Microfence. They make aftermarket systems to work on the Festool rail (offside) that are very nice.

Greg.
I have both and the Festool.
Microfence is the best for inlays and such.
The Super SRK from eureka offers XYZ movements and versatility that can only  be found on CNC mills.
I use the F-1400 with the digital ez version SSRK. Their newest model.
I use the SSRK with all my portable power tools.
circular saws, routers, planers and very soon, with my PC belt sander.

Another user called it "tank in ice skates"

You have to see this invention.
