Non-festool tools in Systainers

Hi,

I'm reading on FOG for a few years now and it took some time before I wanted to share something on this forum that's why I hadn't registered yet. I live in the Netherlands. So... Sorry for my english grammar ;) .
Besides a few Festool tools (TS55 REBQ, RO150, DTS400, CS70, CTL26 and OF1010 with routerbits & sandingpaper-systainers) I own a few non-festool tools which were stored in different kinds of boxes and cases.
But after a few months of saving I ordered a pile of systainers and kaizenfoam. My wife cried when she saw the bill, but hey. Tools should be stored properly ;) .

The results:

I also created labels with photoshop to recognize fast what's in which systainer (the strange white squares on the down-left of the labels contained my name, phonenumber and adress).

And inside the systainers where I used the foam for:

Looks neat isn't it?
And special thanks to Ben_ for the latch front of the first aid systainer.

Next project is to build a cabinet in my small shed to store the systainers in.
I already saw a lot of inspiration here, so I'll share the cabinet when finished :) .

Hi Bleiblei,

Looks very nice and neat!
I myself also like to store as many tools in systainers. I already own a lot of them (67).
I also like the fact that you make the labels for other tool-brands and replace the Festool colours and logo.
I've also done a lot of labels for other FOG members in the UK and USA.

[welcome] to the FOG, and great first post!

With very few exceptions, most of us that got bitten by the green bug have more systainers than we have green tools. They are just too well-designed and useful if you want your tools (and supplies) organized.

Please post pictures of your projects when you can - we LOVE pictures!

And I concur - your english is just fine.

Edit: I am TRULY JEALOUS of all the color choices you have for systainers. Then again, if I had all those options it might cost me a fortune...

I like your ideas, thinking of doing something with my Fein Multimaster.
Festool do an insert for the Fein.

Nice work.  Once I get my shop in order I think I'm going to use this method for some of the more delicate items like lasers or measuring instruments.

Thanks everybody!
@ Rick, I bought it in the UK at toolovation.co.uk.
But I've got 3 sheets left, I sell them at marktplaats :) .
Let me know when you're interested.

The Fein inlay is indeed available. It is a Tanos inlay, they also have inlay's for corded drills and angle grinders.
I do not own a Fein (I've got a cheap Bosch green multitool and don't use it often) so didn't need the inlay for Fein.
But I do have the corded drill and angle grinder inlay. I'll take a picture of them.

oops, wrong button, double post :P .
But hereby the photo of the other systainers with premold inlay:

I was under the impression that it's against the law to place any non-Festool product into a Festool Systainer, is not that the reason for Tanos.  Stoning was punishment I thought, but that's the way I'm all the time. [poke]

Id be lying to suggest i was not in love with these colored systainers...

This Festool/tool/organization obsession is gonna get very expensive. As though the tools are not expensive enough!

Since replacing 80% of my tools with Festools i curse every non Festool i have everytime i go to pack my tools for a instal.  That stupid big blue tub i throw everything in really blows flow of the whole system ;)

Wonderful photos and ideas, thanks so much for sharing!!

I have to admit a tremendous amount of envy at your inserts! I have all of my tools stored in Systainers, but with how busy I've been I haven't had a chance to produce liners for them yet, so many tools are just sliding around.

From whom did you order the multi colored Systainers? Thanks again for sharing!!  [big grin]

Guess I'm due a stoning then  [smile]. I have a few festool branded tlocs that don't contain any festools . I don't care what is written on the box I just get the best deal on the size I want . My tools earn me a living and systainers speed up my time loading and unloading the job site , thus saving me time and money.

As far as I know Festool just don't do lasers and tackers ;) .

I ordered these at funkoffershop.de.
Fully customizable systainers.
