Hi Chris! Thanks for that. Looks like the abrasive layer is more flexible than conventional sponge abrasives, so that’s a good thing.

But what I’m really curious about is how they work on an orbital or rotary tool. Maybe later next week it might be convenient?

Hi Michael,

It's not clear in the photos, but the moulding was sanded with the abrasive on an RTS, not by hand. I don't have any shots or video handy showing it, but the PROfile works very well on a random orbit or orbital sander. When sanding a moulding with a random orbit sander, the sanding pad isn't spinning - it's just doing its fine 2, 3, or 5mm oscillations. For sanding profiles, a rotary sander (e.g. Rotex mode) would not be a good idea however.

I'll try to get something from the guys next week to share. Though I haven't had a chance to use PROfile on an actual project yet, I'm quite impressed with its performance.
