So, my RO 90 arrived yesterday, and today I ordered an RTS 400 and a DTS 400.

Now I get to start accumulating a whole bunch of abrasives... and a few abrasive storage systainers...

I sell assortments that are meant for people that are starting with Festool sanders. It allows them to have a variety and figure out what they actually use most.

It is a bit of fun filling up the abrasive storage systainers.  [big grin] When I first got the 150/3 sanders, I took the sample pack that came with the units and tested them on different scrape wood and painted wood. From there put a list together. Testing them really helped to understand how much better these sanders are than other brands. [thumbs up] Also how setting the speed of the extractor  [doh] effects the job.

The big boxes are the best price and so I just order all that I knew I needed and pushed out to some grits that were beyond what I thought I would need.  I then load a bit of everything in the systainer and load it heavy for what my site job will need.  Now I just email my local dealer when I empty a box and he puts on on my bill and holds it for me (or ordered) and I pick it up next time I'm in.

Cheers,
Steve

Let us know how you like that RO 90. I'm thinking of purchasing one too.

I like it so far, but it showed up without the delta sanding pad. [sad]  I had bought an extended delta pad, so at least I can play with that.

I am getting used to holding it differently than my other sanders, and am experimenting with where the vac suction needs to be.

I work part time at a Woodcraft store, and am planning a largish order soon - some Granat, some Rubin, and some Brilliant2 in both round and delta, and at least one systainer to put it all in.  I also am planning on a hard pad for edges, and the edge guide set.
