Built for client to go with a Mantle shelf that I built for them 2 years ago.
First attempt at such a project - never had built doors before - the Domino made them strong and easy.
Cabinet is about 40" wide, 80" tall and 22" deep. Used solid Oak along with some 3/4 Rift-sawn plywood. Used Blum tandem under-mount slides and Blum hinges.
It was a cool project to work on. There's a hidden flat silver disc touch dimmer in the wine space "ceiling" to turn on and dim a light in the top portion.
No screws in entire project - just dominos and glue.
The mantle shelf from a few years back has 1" copper pipe mitered, glued and polished inset into it. I designed both projects in Sketchup - the cabinet before sketch is shown also.
