I can’t post pics directly from my iPhone photos file but I might have found a simple workaround.
1. Select photo in Photos you want to post
2. Press the arrow in box icon to send the photo to someone and send it to your own email
3. Open the email and long press the photo (if using an iPhone or iPad) then choose “add to photos”
4. Check Photos to see that the copy has been added to the end of your Photos file
Probably the biggest benefit to doing the above is that the new version of the pho’s will be about 1/7th the size of the original. Check the metadata. It is then an appropriate size for postin in the FOG.
5. Press the Picture icon among the tool icons in the Post Composition window in FOG
6. Click the Attachments arrow below the text window
7. Click the Choose file button and select Photo library
8. Find the photo and select Use
9. Choose how you want the pic to appear in the post (in this test I’m using “inline full-size image”)
Well, it turned out to be an “end of post clickable image” instead but at least it got here.
It looks like a lot of steps but it’s easy to do .
