In the 1st picture, I used double sided tape to affix a trim half to a board and then ran it through the jointer. Repeated for the other half. Perfect joint.

I glued each of the trim segments with super glue with accelerator. Then sanded the trim.

When I ran the half through the jointer, I did have a small chip come out. Fortunately, I left the segments a tad long and trimmed off the chipped segment.
 
That looks great! A little sanding and it looks like the trim will be perfect. What say you? Also, how do the long edges on the stave joints look?
