OF 1400 1/2" collet

Don't ask why... but i have taken my collet to bits.

So, I now have the black outer casing
A rubber gasket
An inner collet

Now, I presume they go back in the same order as their is a rim on the collet that the rubber band fits over (loose).
Now, how the hell do I get the rubber gasket to stay over the collet ?

Solved it....

Push the metal collet into the outer black casing. Then drop the rubber gasket over the inner collet and push it down with a very thin bit of metal, without ripping it/cutting it...

Right, I won't take that to bits again !
