Hi!
I have just bought the OF 1400 router and tried it out together with the guide rail using the accessory guide stop. A problem I have is that there is some play between the guide stop and the guide rail causing it to wobble when sliding which in turn makes the router wobble. Is it something I missed or is there a technique I can use to not create this effect?

I'm new to Festool, woodworking and this great forum. I have been lurking for a while and want to thank everybody for the wealth of knowledge that can be found here!

I have the ATF 55.  The screws for locking (snugging) to the guide rail are single slot and so small i could not find a screwdriver to fit in there.  i finally found an old one that i ground down to fit.  When I got my OF 1000, the screws were phillips head type, also very small.  I found an old jewelers phillips head that i had inherited from my dad.  It fit perfect.  When i got my OF 1400, it fit perfectly and i have not had to do any adjustment yet, so i don't know (I checked when i first used the toy, but because i checked only once, I don't remember) which type of screws were used.  I assume that by now, Festool has standardized the screws for that operation.
