OF 1400 depth stop broke

Hi FOG,

I was working yesterday making some rabbets on some plywood for a project when I noticed that my depth stop had sheared off?  [eek]  I just bought the router new last year and am in San Francisco.  What and where do you guys propose I do for getting this fixed?  Is it under warranty?  I would imagine so.

You are well within the warranty period (3 years).  Call Festool.  I have removed this part to make it have less slop -- it is an easy replacement to perform if that is how Festool wants to handle it.

call that 888 # on the side of your router and ask for service. Explain what happened and they can probably send you the necessary part.
