OF 1400 Edge Guide Dust Hood

Hi,

    I have the dust hood in the pic below that cliips into the router edge guide. The catalog shows a different one for this purpose #445 497. Is this an improved version or something else?

The 445497 is the stock chip guard that comes with the edge guide (492 636).  Any time you see "(replacement)" in the catalog it signifies that this is an item that is stock component to an "item" ordered.  i.e. Page 55 in the 2007 catalog item #13 (492 000) the dust hood comes with the OF 1400 EQ. 

HOWEVER, in viewing my stock of the 445 497 I currently have the ones that look like the afore posted picture. 

Two things must be going on here:
           
      A. Festool has re-designed the 445 497 and is waiting for the "older" version to sell out or,
      B. Festool USA has a wrong pic in the catalog.

Those are my thoughts, and I am sticking to it.  I will give FestoolUSA a call / e-mail and post on Monday to get some clarification.  That is unless another dealer has the answer.

Timmy, I think you're right about it being wrong in the catalogue - I've just checked the Festool UK website, and found this:

This shows the 'alternate' part number, but the picture is the same part as Seth's picture (which is the same as I've got in my OF1400).
