OF 1400 metal plate

Would be great to get an answer to this.
It's definitely not a "transit" aid as mine came with two small grub screws in a little poly bag.
It seems like it attaches to a router somewhere.

So just for clarity, you have the plate too? Not just Serge that has one?

Yes, I have the plastic hood, metal plate and two grub screws. Looks exactly same as Serge photo items.

That plate was to attache the dust shroud to the OF2000 router.  They are not sure why or how the plate ended up in with the OF1400 router.

Ok, thanks, so it fits the newer plastic guard to the older OF2000 side fence, that makes sense.
