Hello,

I recently got a good deal on a used OF1400, but after purchase have realized that it's missing the part of the base plate that receives and secures the copy ring adapter. See picture below. Does anyone know (a) the name of the missing part and (b) if it's possible to purchase a replacement part? Do you think I would be better off just buying a new router base, perhaps something like the Imagine Woodworking Ultimate Router base? Or am I just totally misunderstanding how the copy ring is attached to the base?

Many thanks,
Simon

You're missing a few parts.  [smile]

A couple of screws

A retaining ring

A dowel pin and the 2 retainer assemblies that capture the tabs on the copy ring. Possibly others because I don't know what other loose parts came with the router. Item 75 releases the retainer assemblies and there's also a linkage that connects the retainer assemblies etc...

Here's the ekat parts file, there are 3 different 1400 routers to choose from.
