OF 1400 not returning from plunge

Hoppes 9 has a wonderful smell that takes me back to outings in Oklahoma with my dad. After returning from our outing, we would feed the dogs then clean our “utensils” with Hoppes then wipe them down with light oil. Good memories.

I've often thought that Hoppe's is missing the boat by NOT making an aftershave or underarm deodorant with their signature scent.  [big grin]

That’s a staggering concept.

Actually Sparky I prefer this because of its ease of application. Just a quick spray and I'm golden....

My 2 year old OF1400 router does not spring back up for the last 1" of plunge. The user has to manually pull it up. I know Festool will want to see the tool back, but as this is my business, I would hope for an easy solution rather than parting with it for a week or two. Any ideas?
I'm not sure where you are located but I wipe down the posts with some kind of a light solvent to clean them and then use GP2000 for lubrication...same for the Dominos. PG2000 was developed as a bicycle chain lube but is great for this application. Greg Paolini and Sedge recommended this to me originally and I use the stuff to lube the gears on our Sawstop saws as well.PG2000 lubricant

Pretty I've seen car air fresheners in Hoppes #9 flavor.  Used to joke that the best use for #9 was a little dab behind the ear to attract the ladies... ;)

As far as cleaning solvents go, the primary virtue of Hoppes #9 is that it's almost impossible for the lay person to screw up and damage their weapon with it.  Used to joke that the best use for #9 was a little dab behind the ear to attract the ladies... ;)
