OF 2200 plugged into a CT 36 dust extractor

Has anyone had any issues with an 0F 2200 router on the CMS GE plugged into a CT36 dust extractor? I'm looking at the amperage and it looks like it would be pushing the limits of my 20 amp circuit breaker. I'm guessing a lot of the amps will be pulled during startup. It will be plugged into a 20 amp breaker. Thanks in advance for the replies. Happy Thanksgiving!

I do it often no problems what so ever.

You should be fine. I have not had any issues with my 20amp breakers tripping with this setup. If you do a search you will find that this topic has been discussed before.

Welcome to the FOG!  You will most likely be ok.  If you run into a situation where a breaker trips you can reduce the suction on the CT and that may solve that part.  Another advantage of variable speed on the CT.

I've had no trouble with my OF 2200 plugged into my CT 22.  I will say that when I'm doing the more heavy jobs, I do plug the two into two separate circuits and control the CT 22 manually.

As festool doesn't recommend the use of a 2200 in the CMS in NA, I wouldn't recommend that you do it, but if I did, I wouldn't have any issues even when I used a 110V 3.3Kv tranny to power it while Im in the UK.
