Would someone measure the inside and outside diameters of the dust port on an OF 2200 router.
Called Festool and they can't tell me.

This will be an OF 2200 Imperial which has just a round port.  I've seen them with a locking port but aparently they don't make them that way now.

Thanks

I’m away from mine at the moment, but pretty sure the i.d. fits the 27mm hose end and the o.d fits the 36mm one.

Sorry I can’t put calipers on it to give you precise numbers.

Yea, I'm aware how the hose ends fit but I need the actual size so that I can adapt it to my vac system.

Don’t you have a 27 or 36mm Festool hose ?  Measure those.

Or a dealer nearby.

ID = 34.97mm - Fits the Festool 27mm hose
OD = 38.97mm - Fits the Festool 36mm hose
YMMV...

Thank you

As suggested in another topic, the dust collector with 5" hose I use for my jointer & planer probably insn't going to work.  It loses too much flow when reducing it to a small hose for hand tools.  I'll probably end up adapting a shop vac with a cyclone and see how that works.
I'd buy a Festool CT48 & separator but I don't have a spare $1200 at the moment.

I use a 6hp shop vac that I placed in a shed and plumbed it with 2" sch40 to a port above my shop table. I turn it on with a cheap 3 channel RF controller from HD. channel 1 turns on shop fans, channel 2 turns on shop vac, and channel 3 turns on 220v dust collector.  its a 120v unit so you need to get creative with a contactor switch to power 220v equipment but it works good and everything is on one remote.  I think its made by Defiant or Relient something like that.  They sell a 1 channel too but the 3 channel is only a few bucks more and isnt any bigger.  I dont do any mobile work so a festool vac is more than I need If I had to be mobile I would get one.  Either way it works great and its probably 150 total
