I've a like new OF1010 which has only been used to flush trim 3/4" edge banding on my sys cart and 1 shop cabinet. I was trimming the partition panel for the cabinet and it wasn't cutting flush. After inspecting the bit, I noticed the bearing was sitting flush on the plywood but cutter was angled upwards. Inspecting even further I noticed the attachment wasn't square to the base.
I figured I could set the router on it's side and give the bracket a slight push to ensure it's fully seated in the side slot when it crumbled like a Chinese fortune cookie! Hopefully somebody else will read this in advance of thinking any similar idea and save themselves this headache.
Can anybody recommend where I can find a replacement base?
