Hey guys,
More of an informative post than anything;
I'm still debating whether to get the OF1400 to combine with my trend hinge jig, which requires a 16mm guide bush with a 12mm cutter. Only trouble here, Festool don't make a 16mm Guide bush..
I Emailed Trend to see if they did any such accessories that would allow me to use the router with the jig, and here is the reply I received;
Hi
Thanks for your enquiry.
I have checked the compatibility for your Festool router, and can tell you that our UNIBASE will not fit directly. However you can purchase a GB/5/S, which is a special base drilled just to suit your router. This base fits to the bottom of your router, and then allows you to fit our guide bushes, enabling you to use the jigs.

Thank you
Regards
Hope this helps clear up some confusion with anyone who also wants to use this combination.
