They actually did develop the tool and the switch - they aren't fake.  Who knows if the switch will actually come to production.

It would be interesting to find at what point in the design/manufacturing/marketing/sales process Rob Lee decides to make it an April 1 tool instead of actually selling them.  [unsure] [blink] [huh] [embarassed] [big grin]

Nice , thought it was a gag but I could see it being a product. It would not be the the strangest thing I have seen wood workers want. Oddly the magnetic switch thing I would like for other than wood working things.

I think some of those would be great conversation pieces. Regardless weather they worked.
