Old Black Splinter Guard Question...

Is the old style guide rai,l black, splinter guard, the same part as the non skid strips?  In a search for the splinter guard, the non skid strips keep coming up.  Can you tell me what the part # is and where I can get it?

The old style Festool black guide rail strip was discontinued years ago.  It was replaced by the translucent strip currently offered.

    .................... plus the non-skid strips are different material. They definitely will not work for the anti-splinter strip.

Too bad it was discontinued.  The old black splinter guard was non slip, so it helped with narrower boards.  Guess I'll have to switch to Makita as others have.
