I also recently got some T-Loc minis. A few notes for those thinking about them.
First off, I have a small herd of minis, and the ones I like the most and found the most useful were the extended height Mini-II's. At the moment, there is no such T-Loc offering.
Second, like most people I felt the classic Mini latches were... futzy, at worst. But generally not a big deal.
The T-Loc mini's have the ubiquitous turning latch, and function great. Seriously, SO much easier to open and close. And maybe important for some people, it is SOOOO much easier to connect a stack of T-Loc mini's. I don't mind locking together a stack of Classic full sized Systainers, but a small stack of classic mini's was always extremely annoying.
T-Loc mini's connect to eachother... BUT do NOT connect to classic minis. There are no bottom latch points on the T-Loc mini, so there is no way whatsoever to connect a stack of old mini's and the T-Locs (unlike the backwards compatibility for the regular size Systainers).
I agree with Bruno that the handle seems very small, but I have large hands, so YMMV.
One small gripe, the T-Loc minis lose some space inside, due to the indented front where the turning latch lives. It doesn't seem like a big deal, but in such a small footprint, 1/2" makes a difference. This is the primary reason the inserts are not compatible between the classic mini's and the T-Loc mini's.
