One gripe I have about the Systainer Mini's

The main problem I have is the latches are absolutely horrible....they continually fall out of there little grooves they slide on.  Other then that they are built just as good as the regular sizes.  I just got my two I ordered today.  I don't know if I will order them again or not.

They're pants. Even worse when you stack 'em and have to get something out of the bottom one.
Just ordered 2 mini t-locs from vantainer today. Got a call they're waiting for them to come in.
You can get them now on German EBay, but shipping to the UK is nearly as much as the box.

I have a few of them I think they are ok no issues at all. interested to see the new mini t-loc though just hope its not flimsy...

I agree, I have 5 total. No real issues with them, just the latches get really annoying. When the cooperate they are great, when they don't they suck  [smile]

Had three mini t-locs arriving today, must say that any mishaps the classic connection system may have had, is corrected by the t-loc way of connecting. They are VERY accessible and even look pretty.
For every 90 degree turn you feel and hear that click. No concerns there, absolutely recommendable.
A big hand might feel the handle a little, well little, but thats it.

Only flaw is the t-loc inserts are not interchangeable whith the classics (this goes for midis also) so be warned navigating an internet order.

I also had the assumption that they might click on top of the midis. Don´t maxis have midis click on top of them? [eek]
Two minies fit perfectly inside a midi, but come on, open a box to open a box?  :P [wink]

I also recently got some T-Loc minis.   A few notes for those thinking about them.

First off, I have a small herd of minis, and the ones I like the most and found the most useful were the extended height Mini-II's.  At the moment, there is no such T-Loc offering.

Second, like most people I felt the classic Mini latches were... futzy, at worst.  But generally not a big deal.
The T-Loc mini's have the ubiquitous turning latch, and function great.  Seriously, SO much easier to open and close.  And maybe important for some people, it is SOOOO much easier to connect a stack of T-Loc mini's.  I don't mind locking together a stack of Classic full sized Systainers, but a small stack of classic mini's was always extremely annoying.

T-Loc mini's connect to eachother... BUT do NOT connect to classic minis.  There are no bottom latch points on the T-Loc mini, so there is no way whatsoever to connect a stack of old mini's and the T-Locs (unlike the backwards compatibility for the regular size Systainers).

I agree with Bruno that the handle seems very small, but I have large hands, so YMMV.

One small gripe, the T-Loc minis lose some space inside, due to the indented front where the turning latch lives.  It doesn't seem like a big deal, but in such a small footprint, 1/2" makes a difference.  This is the primary reason the inserts are not compatible between the classic mini's and the T-Loc mini's.

Thanks for the info.  I certainly didn't realize that old and new didn't latch.

Lee Valley has this note on their site, regarding the T-Loc mini's:
Due to overwhelming response to our introductory offer, this product has sold out far earlier than expected. We have already ordered additional stock and it is due to arrive by mid-May, 2013. Once stock is received, we will make this offer available again at the introductory price.

So if you didn't get some yet, look forward to them at $19.50 again!

When I bought mine at the Burlington store the eight I requested turned out to be the last eight in the place, or that she could find anyway.

I emptied their display table of minis...  :o
