Oneida Dust Deputy paired with CT Midi....

I just received my "new to me" CT Midi, and am strongly considering the acquisition of the Oneida Dust Deputy which latches to the top of the vac.  Has anyone paired this dust deputy and the Midi?  I'm concerned that the hose inlet in the top of the vac will cause some difficulties with the cyclone fixed to the top.

check out this video review i posted in another topic..    I made my own box using the dust deputy and some plywood.. it is essentially the same thing as the ultimate dust deputy  it even attaches to the top of my CT26 and MIDI

skip forward to 3:35 in the video  for a few second view of the vac setup and then jump to 5:33 to get a better look..

i plan on doing a more detailed video of the entire setup soon.    the hose i have from the MIDI to the dust deputy is the Festool AS 50mm        in the hose garage i use a 90 degree adapter i found    Item #128683 from woodcraft is actually a brush attachment for a vacuum but if you remove the bristles from it then it fits perfectly into the hole in the top of the vac and the hose fits into the other side of the piece..    ill try to explain this a bit more in my video which im going to try to do in a day or two..
