If I use Osmo oil to protect my MRMDF mft style top, will the holes get tighter?

According to Peter Parfitt — yes. He recommends oiling/finishing before cutting the holes.

I used Fiddes, which I believe is similar to Osmo and, yep they all got tight.  [huh]
I put my 20m cutter in a hand drill and gave each hole a very gentle 'zizz' and an hour later all was well, thankfully.  [smile]

TBH they're a little slack so a very slight tighten should do the trick.  [wink]
