Other brand cleaning kits work with a 27mm hose?

but I'm having a hard time paying $94 for a few brushes and tubes. Have others used a different brand?On this forum it is good to put your home country, so advice can be offered a little more specifically.
Another way to do it is to use a different larger size hose and than any accessories you want. Most all shop vacs use the 2 1/2" fitting including Festool. In reality it is closer to 2 1/4". Festool's quality is hard to beat, but a lesser option does work.

With a Midi the 1 7/8" might be preferable.
