Other sys inserts?

Anyone using the MultiMaster insert? I'm also considering the right angle grinder insert and the hammer drill insert for a 1/2" Bosch hammer drill.

Any input would be greatly welcomed!

Quite a few members are using the multi master insert.  I admit I am not although I have my multi master in a systainer.  I have a terrible habit of saving every dead multi master blade hoping that I can possible find a further use for them.

I got the drill insert at one point, but my drill didn't fit into it. So I'd say make sure your drill fits before you buy it.

it takes some time but just use Kaizen foam!

I have the insert for my multimaster and I love it. It was rather inexpensive and just too handy not to purchase. Being able to integrate the mm into my Festool setup was a good decision.

A note , pretty sure the MM insert requires a Sys - II even though it looks like it should fit in a Sys- I. I used a Sys - III and stacked the MM insert on top of another compartment insert in order to hold more accessories and blades.

With the insert is is possible you need a II, but i have a MM and and a dremel sitting in the same sys I with attic storage lid where i put all the accessories. Some day i will make a proper homemade insert.
It's funny when you see the gigantic case the MM comes in, while you can basically fit two with all the accessories in a sys I! Thats why the first thing i did was ditch that case.

Lee Valley Tools.  Woodcraft should be getting their Tanos product in February.

I use a zip blade ( thin grinding blade) and grind some teeth in to them for rough cutting or demo work.
I also glue sand paper on to the old blades. You can get into some tight spot with that!

Lee Valley doesn't currently show the MM tray. So maybe it will be available from Woodcraft ? Or make your own using dividers or Kaizan foam. I stacked the MM tray on top of the five compartment tray  (B) shown on This Lee Valley page.
