Parallel guide set question

I will be building a series of cabinets and built ins using the LR32 mm set. This set comes with two sizes of rails, the 55" and the 95". Breaking down the plywood sheets with the parallel guide set requires a 106" rail minimum. I have the guide rail connectors and could connect the two 55" rails together. I am wondering if I am going to spend my time with my straight edged making sure they are still straight before each cut defeating the time save using the Parallel guide set. Basically do you need the FS 2700 to make the system work smoothly or will the two 55" rail will work as smoothly?

In fact, is the parallel guide set worth the money if you need the FS 2700 to break down the plywood sheet, would the FS2700 be good enough by itself?

You'll probably be needing the FS3000 for ripping sheetgoods.
So buy the lr32 version. Imho the parallel guides and 2rails combined get
Knocked out of alignment real easy.. No fun..

Thnks for reading.. Rick

I use 2 55" rails no problems. Yea you will need the guides.

There are some great videos on utube showing the setting up and use of the PG

I use the 2700mm guide rail to cut sheet goods with no problems. The 3000mm rail would give you a little more runout room, but is not necessary.

I believe the advantage of the guide set is to set up to do repeating cuts - the FS 2700 or 2 55 inch rails will do the job but you'll be measuring every cut or you could make a jig of some sort. Personally if this was a one time thing, I doubt I would buy the parallel guide set but just MHO.
