tDot said:I ordered custom cabinet doors from Richelieu during the summer. It was a disaster. I wont do it again. They took 4 times longer to deliver, then they promised, and 90% of the doors were the wrong size, groups of three drawer fronts that all should have matched weren't even the same width, I had to cut and respray them. Richelieu's only answer for me was that they couldn't do anything for me (ie. compensation) and that it was summer time, so some level of mistakes could be expected, as workers were on vacation.
For custom work, I'll stick to local shops.
madera said:"Respray" ????? I have to assume you are referring to wooden doors and not parapan.

He was talking about the poor service he received for a custom job, work they apparently said they could do. If that poor service translates to other types of work they say they can do, then it would be prudent not have them do it for wood, Parapan or whatever.
