Hey all,
I finally received my Pro 5 Sander yesterday (I will refrain from comment about the whole Pro 5 debacle). This makes my old ES 125 even more obsolete. I've never been happy with the ES 125 and I don't use it. I planned on just giving it to a family member. However, I've rethought that and now I want to convert it to a delta pad sander. I won't use it much but there are times when I can definitely see it being useful. In addition, I have no desire to buy a new sander just for this specific purpose.
I've dug around here on FOG and I've found threads about conversions but nothing about this conversion. Since I don't plan on switching back and forth, that's not a factor in doing this nor is voiding the warranty because it's long been out of warranty.
I've dug through EKat and found some info but here's what I need to know:
- What parts would I need for this conversion? I'm assuming the plate and the sanding pad itself. Anyone have these part numbers? Is there anything else I need?
