Hi Guys, its my first post on FOG so excuse me if there is anything wrong or missing. I built this desk and printer units for a client to replace her old ( out of the box ) units she bought.
Not to much was done with festool machines besides the flutes and rough cutting the planks and boards.

Impressive. I like the moulding on the bottom, nice flute work.  I'm sure she's pleased. [wink]

Thanks Waho ( not your name im sure ). She was pleased but she is one of those clients that just doesnt jump for joy no matter what you give her. The bottom moulding i made on my Hammer C31 combination machine. I hade a custom set of cutters made by austro to go on the spindle moulder.

Welcome Wayne

Nice looking cabinets.  The spindle is quite some tool eh.  I have a Felder planer/thicknesser but would hope to replace my Jet spindle with a Felder this year.  Love the Felder stuff, I believe hammer is nearly as good.  Are you pleased with it ?

Cheers, Woodguy.

Hi Woodguy, the spindle really is the only way to go for big moulding, Im looking at getting a power feeder for it soon just to help save the fingers and bump up the quality. Felder really do make some nice machines. I was looking at getting the felder combo but went with the hammer because cash was a bit tight when i started the business. I am please with the Hammer so far ive had it nearly 2 years now and havnt had any issues besides having to have the austro guys come in once to give it a good clean because the table saw blade was really getting hard to move up and down, but thats mostly my mistake for not cleaning the machine as often as i should have. Other then that all the other parts like the planner/thicknesser and spindle havnt let me down yet. ( Clean machines are happy machines )
