PD or PDC

I am mostly workshop based and am well happy with my CSX but every now and then I have to venture out and screw stuff to the wall, which means heaving out the old SDS, its massive and is the only bit of non festool kit left so..... Undecided....either its a corded PD or cordless PDC, the machines appear to have the same functions and seem to be the same weight which i cant quite understand as the cordless PDC has a large battery.

has any body used both machines??
