Pine Dresser

Just finished this pine dresser, due to be delivered to customer on Monday, I don't normally do much in softwood but is for a regular client. Used the domino a lot on this, along side a new bosch gcm12 which I have to say I'm not massively impressed by thus far.

I too, was wondering about the door construction.  I've never seen the rails of the doors extend to the edge, usually the stiles extend from edge to edge vertically.  Is that a style that is more common in the UK?

No wouldn't usually run full width rails, this was mainly done to reduce visible end grain on the top cabinet doors with them being overlay, I had originally intended to do mitred frames but customer preferred these.

Funny things clients  ;D but if it makes 'em happy then no worries.
Once it tones down that will look the business.
Just recently had to cut down the four poster bed as our ceilings are too low in the new place and the top of the posts really glow white compared to the rest of the frame. Nice project and I like the big square legs.  [smile]

I think it's beautiful.  My Dad did our whole basement in pine (walls, ceilings, shelves), so this makes me feel like I'm at home.

Nice piece, and especially nice fit!  Those tight clearances always make me a bit nervous before the install. Measure twice, and still a quarter inch too wide, or discover the walls are not quite square....

Thanks, unfortunately I don't have any drawings on this one, minimal on paper design was done, mainly done on the fly.
