Planex soft pad

Hi all. I just got my planex today, and tried putting a soft pad on the disc. That was a no go. Do I need to install a different disc to use the soft Pad?  Thank you for any replies. Preston

I can’t find the part #, but my memory is that Festool sells an accessory kit that includes two interface pads, and a special backing pad/disc. You need to replace the standard backing pad with the kit pad to effectively use the interface pads. Hopefully someone else can chime in with the appropriate part #.
