Tried sanding without it...but swirl marks using 120 grit. Put on soft sanding set- with the interface pad, and with a washer, but it requires muscle to keep it from bouncing. Have taken it on and off a few times to make sure correct.
Also, for popcorn, tried 40 and 60 grit, but getting a lot of dust and debris. Vacuum suction is fine- holds my hand in place on center vacuum, and can also feel perimeter vacuum pretty well when I switch to that- maybe my popcorn is too thick and keeps it from getting close enough to ceiling to form a suction?
Anyone else experience these? I finished one room with wetting and scraping.
