Thanks for that Mike...now I'm getting it.I don't know if I understand what you are saying, but all XenForo-based sites tend to operate the same. If you are logged in and click on the title of a thread that has unread posts, the software will open the thread at the first post you have not yet read. If you want to go to the last post in a thread, click on the time link at the far right of the thread title block.
I added a FOG link to my browser toolbar that takes me directly to the unread post page:Thanks for that Mike...now I'm getting it.I kept clicking on new threads and kept getting the same results.

I'm wondering if the "last unread post" data was wiped out in the transition. I noticed a number of older threads that I knew I had read and caught up on before the transition were re-marked as "unread", and when clicking into them, was taken to the first post rather than the most recent unread post.I don't know if I understand what you are saying, but all XenForo-based sites tend to operate the same. As for the "new member" thing, that appears to have been fixed, but I do miss the post count under the user icon. I find that to be near-essential in the Classifieds.
Just click on avatar image and post count shows.I'm with you......nice just to glance over and see if the new post is from a seasoned Fogger or if it's actually from a newbie. And with over 69,000 members, even I can't remember everyone's name.

I've been involved in many platform migrations over the years, and it's almost never a straight forward and trivial affair to not have it go completely pear shaped, so I think they did a stellar job on what they did. Kudos to their dev's!This certainly wasn’t a money saving tactic on Festool’s part. At least 4 Festool people, a consulting firm, and the software vendor all involved and the delay was all caused by the full movement of the sheer size of the database and its attachments. Thankfully I wasn’t part of that![]()
