Powered Rasp!

I noticed this on Axminister and thought could come in handy when you trill or cut a large hole but its just little to tight or just not quite in line I could see this could be a clean and quick way of taking little bit more timber away. Any one used one before?!?!?

Yeah I have it, plus the smaller one and a bunch of accessories. I used them once and now they sit in my drawer for the last few years. Okay, but it does leave an edge that may require sanding. The similar version that uses a sanding drum(Robo-sander) works better, but that sits in my drawer as well. Nothing beats the router for the cleanest edge.

I had access to one of these in a drill press for several hours.  I personally do not like the fact that "when it bites, it BITES!".

I would not try it in a hand drill trying to use it as a powered rasp
