Pre Sales Track Question

I'm getting ready to purchase at TS 55 and will need an extra 1400 piece of rail. Can I use the 32mm drilling rail with the TS 55 and be ready to get a drilling system without duplicating rail pieces? If the drilled rail will also work as saw track, then I could save some money and extra parts to need to carry.

Absolutely. In fact, if I were in your shoes I'd ask the dealer to replace/upgrade the rail that comes with the TS55 to the 55" Holy Rail. My upgrade was only $5.

With this combination you could have a 110" Holy Rail if you need to do a pantry or something else that's tall.

If I were in your situation I would ask your dealer to substitute the 1400 "Holey" rail for the rail that comes with the saw and pay the small difference then look at getting the 1900 rail as an extra.  That allows you to quickly slap the 1900 down for crosscuts on 48" plywood without needing to worry as much about the amount of lead in space for your cut.  Whichever route you go, don't forget to get two rail connector bars.

I really like the combination of two 1400mm "Holy" rails, especially when it comes to bookcases and the like.  As Peter mentioned, you'll need two connector bars, but if you're doing bookcases or tall cabinets using the 32mm system, you'll need one LR 32 Guide Rail Index (496938, included in the LR 32 system) to space the rails apart and keep the hole patterns correctly indexed.  I'd suggest that the Betterley Straightline Connector is just the right tool for keeping the rails in perfect alignment as you cinch down the connector bars.  You might also consider replacing the connector bar screws with these nylon-tipped screws.
