Hello,

i search for a solution to mount a Router to my Precisio like some Bosch Table Saw users do.
So i thought about a Table with the MFT Profiles instead the CS70VL.
Is this a good way? How can i "connect" the Table to the Precisio without play?
So i can use my CS70LA to cut wide sheets and also use it on the router.

I hope you can follow my thoughts and have some inspiration for me :)

Greetings from Germany

TSB/1-MW-1000 table is listed as compatible with the CS 70, no idea if it's able to work like a CS 70 VB when using the CS 70 LA fence. There are some videos on youtube about putting a router

I also vaguely remember having read about a MFT/3 VL being attachable to the CS 70, same question about the CS 70 LA fence.

You should be able to connect both on the side where the sliding table would be, in case you have none.

I think the VB is too small for my Trend T11EK. And also it is very expensive to modify it.
Where is the "comaptiblity List"?

I think this should match.... I tryed the CS 70 LA on the MFT/3 and it works.

Now i Think about a MFT-VL but its also very expensive.
Why not build something on my own with the MFT/3 Profiles? So it would be usable on my Precisio and on my MFT.

Greetings :)

Why not adapt the CS 70 VB table widener to accept a router? This is the only part that accepts the CS 70 LA fence besides the main table.

Had thought about suggesting that too, but as the CS 70 VB dosn't have legs at the back it might lead to moving the center of mass (by adding a router, a lift and a matching fence) toward or even over the area covered by the legs - resulting in an increased tendency to fall over, especially when pushing down a workpiece onto the router table part.

The TSB/1-MW 1000 ist listed onhttps://www.festool.de/produkte/halbstationaeres-arbeiten/tischzugsaegen/561136---cs-70-eb as Zubehör.

Or get a CMS with the OF plate... less work (though more money) but can be used stand-alone (which can be a plus in quite some situations) and be repurposed as in- or outfeed for the CS 70 (or support bigger stock overhanging from a MFT/3) by retracting the bit and taking off the fence.

I know that. That's why "adapting" would not just mean to cut a hole in the top but also ad one or two legs to fix the instability.

I've test it on my MFT - It works. So the Profiles for MFT should also fit for CS70LA.

I think also this will be a problem with such a big router like my Trend.

Okay - i think the MW1000 is only 50cm wide and so Perfect for replace the CS70VL not VB

This is why i will build it for CS70 and/or MFT - so i can change the "host" system.
My space is limited :)

This is not practicable for me... but it can be a nice solution for small stuff.

Thanks alot for the ideas.
I think i try it with a MFT/3 profile
