Precision dogs

Hey fellow festool'ers. I'm new to this site as well as festool products. I just took delivery of a MFT/3, ts75 and kapex.  I have been trying to research parallel guides and dogs for the table and track saw. I came across precisiondogs products and am comparing them to similar Seneca products. I emailed some questions to precision and have yet to get a reply. I have seen on several occasions on this site people praising precision for their customer service.  I guess you have to be a customer first???  If anyone could make some recommendations I would really appreciate it. There Re so many parallel guides and various dogs,  I'm just not sure what to get.

I am definitely one for the Precision dogs (almost all of their products actually).

Not sure how you contacted them but Jerry usually responds quickly. They are based in LA/Hollywood area, not sure if timeline has anything to do with it.  PM me if you don't hear anything... I can try and get a hold of him.

Did you have specific questions, or were you looking to place an order?

Just for reference, I have several versions of the dogs, the precision plate, parallel guides and the clamp set. All very high quality and excellent to work with.

I just ordered and received their parallel guides. I cut a bunch of 3/4 birch ply with the guides and the consistency was fantastic. I couldn't be more pleased with the outcome. Shipping was very fast and the quality of the guides is great.

What would be a good use of the "rail dogs" if I have the flip down track with the MFT?

As far as the rail dogs go...  You can use it for other angles on the table, also to replace the flip down fence (wouldn't recommend that for daily use) and quite a few other things. The nice thing about their rail dogs is the adjustable rings.

I've just imported a set of dogs, rail dogs and precision plates into the UK. Very good quality pieces of kit. Jerry was helpful with emails and shipped them the same day as I ordered.
