Can someone from Festool please tell us if some of these sanders were forwarded to dealers without vouchers.

They shouldn't be. The voucher should be in the Systainer. Did you get one without a voucher?

No just wondering, mine has the voucher.

CPO ebay had an ad last night for 109 as we all know, but it initially had the voucher info. Now they are selling for 119.00, but on both the initial 109 old ad and and the new 119.00 ad there is no voucher info. It could just be an oversight on their listing.

I asked the question and they have not gotten back to me. If they answer there are no vouchers I will let you know.

Another question: I assume they are allowed to sell at any price , right? And are not restricted by some terms on that 99 sale.

I've always had nothing but a positive experience when buying from CPO.  Good communication and immediate shipment for fast delivery.  They were also johnny on the spot with followups when I've had a problem after the sale.  I sure hope they don't get in trouble.  I think they raised the price to offset Ebay's exorbitant costs.  Fair enough.

I also asked them if these included the voucher via ebay messages, they replied

"Thank you for contacting CPO, a proud retailer of Festool products!

Your question will be best answered by the manufacturer, who can more accurately provide technical support. Please call Festool directly at 888-337-8600, or visit them online at www.festool.com. "

Huh. Another reason I will not be buying from them...

I got a slightly different answer because I ask if everything including the voucher that shipped with these from Festool was included, the answer was they were unopened and will ship with everything included by Festool.  I don't have the exact wording because I deleted the email because I only ask out of curiosity since I don't plan to buy any more.  I do agree about avoiding them for Festool purchases based on this since given the pricing structure buying from the best supporting dealers doesn't cost one more, that said if someone wants one of these immediately then even the $120 price is still a bargain and one has the easy eBay/Paypal protections to cover them if the voucher is not included.

I'm shocked by this message! You're calling people thieves for doing EXACTLY what you do. You buy Festool products low and sell them high so your company can make a profit. It's okay for you to do it but not anyone else? You do this at a much larger scale than any aftermarket reseller so if there is anything unethical about selling a tool for a profit maybe you should close up shop. Funny how it's okay for you to do it but not anyone else.

You are off base with this comment.  Festool sets prices, what the dealer makes in profit has no bearing.  All dealers in the US have to sell for the price festool establishes.  Bob even said that the profit for his business is marginal after shipping and everything else on this product.

You have absolutely no idea what you are talking about in terms of what authorized dealers do.

Interesting that this is the guy with the $300 classified ad.

Not only talking about this specific product but in general you aren't a thieve as was stated if you're selling a tool for a profit. Festool does it and every dealer does it. There is NOTHING unethical with buying a product low and selling it high. That's how the world turns. To say that there is, is way off base! Selling one of these sanders for a profit is exactly what dealers and Festool does with all their tools. Dealers aren't paying Festool  $970 for the Domino. So it's okay for them to sell tools at a profit because you can't buy them anywhere else cheaper but you're a thief if you do it aftermarket? It's the EXACT same thing.

CPO now up to $129.99 with 19 more in stock. Guess CPO must have gotten a decent amount? 50? 100?

Price gouging is the 200 and 300 as shown on this site, anything less than 185.00 is less than retail, add in the 50.00 voucher 129.00 is NOT gouging.

I much I would really like one of these sanders.  I think I will save my money and purchase one from a reputable dealer, if they become available again.  If I can't get one I will spend my money on a DEROS.

What do you think it cost Festool to make a Domino and what do you think dealers pay for it? Or even a systainer? Optics might be a little different but there is no difference. The only difference is Festool uses Min Advertised pricing model to ensure consumers can't purchase their tools at a discount. In most stores the margin on Festool Tools and accessories is by far the highest margin items. There is NOTHING unethical at selling a tool for what someone is willing to pay. I only comment as it was out of line for a dealer to say there is when that's the exacr business they've chosen to be in.

Keep in mind the Deros and Pro 5/ETS 125 are designed to perform different functions.  If you need a Deros or ETS EC the Pro 5 is not the sander for you.

CPO is a very reputable dealer.

But comparing a DEROS to this is crazy, this sander isn't even as good as the stock DeWalt for 99.00, I know I have been playing all day.

The DEROS is more equated to a Festool ETS EC, not a pro5.

Looks like Huxley and I posted a t the same time.
